The new old…esp now with better healthcare.

I still remember my grandma…but too bad she doesn’t live past 70… I see her as a very lively person, still like a kid with tongue sticking out when rushing back home from card sessions just before my grandpa reached home. I see my mom past 70yo…yes same as her mom, agile with fast movement still…I hope to be like them too and by right should be achievable with better healthcare system now.

Oh, I was going to post and say that I probably caught Covid, finally! I just got back from overseas, and I think I caught it while there. I didn't test, so can't say for sure, but the cold lasted nearly 2 weeks, and only kind of wore off yesterday. Normally, my colds and flus don't last more than a few days to a week, and although I wasn't really ill, I was under the weather for longer than usual.

I'm going to assume that it was Covid, and am very happy that I don't have to be waiting for it to get me!
No! Don't leave me alone! It's not covid until you take a test. :nunchuk:

BTW... I just got a pack of covid tests in the mail. What the heck. I still have a ton of tests somewhere in the house... :skeptical:

Can't quite decide what to call myself - not \"old\", because I don't feel old! But not \"young\" either, in terms of energy level and maturity and experience (or lack thereof!)
Try “maturing “. It’s an active process. So long as we’re not inactive & rotting state, we’re not old.

Too late now - and I can't be bothered to test, even though we have so many tests at home. Some probably expire this month too (though I'm sure they will still work fine for at least a few more months). I guess the govt wants to \"use up\" the test kits before they expire in their hands.
