Nevertheless, 95 SC girls born in the same year living <1km in a mature and sparse neighbourhood is still pretty mind boggling.

Neh, i pass by RGPS and SCGS some mornings, can easily count those 95 little kiddies walking to school. Some may be in the long line of cars queuing also.

I can comment on the popularity. Both schools will require balloting <1km in Phase 2C, but South View is about 4 to 5 times more popular than Chua Chu Kang. In fact, it has been the leader in terms of the number of parents balloting in Phase 2C. I would say you should choose Chua Chu Kang if you want less stress balloting in Phase 2C.

You won’t. We thought this year MOE might provide, but Phase 2A proved that nothing has changed.

Yes, I also thought MOE would provide the info this year… but no. I guess there is too much uncertainty to do it on the fly. The next update will be on this coming Friday, just before the balloting. This is just like what they have done for the last 5+ years.

No it doesn't. Each Phase is totally independent of any previous Phase. It is all based on luck.
