Hello,

I am thinking of registering my kid into ALPS this year.
I heard in 2020 ALPS has good PSLE result, but no much information after principle has changed.
Parents with kiddos in ALPS, do you think ALPS is a good choice?
is RVPS or ALPS better?
please help!

Are you in Phase 2C? I think if you can get your kid into either school, you should count your blessings!

Depends on yr distance from sch. Alp and RVPS all need 1km balloting under phase 2c. I live in the area and see equal num of kids fr both schools but i dont know which is better. my kids are only in preschool.

Update: I checked again and actually ALPS did pretty well in PSLE and outperformed nearby schools. For your reference. :rahrah:

My girl is in ALPS now, pri 6 this year, so we went through both principals.

First one, will listen to parents’ feedback, but no action will be done.
Second one, will argue with parents and give various of reasons why she thinks your suggestion / feedback sucks. I will just keep quiet and wait till my girl leave the school 2 months later.
I won’t send my younger one to ALPS.

Side note: The main difference between a "good" school and the so called "neighbourhood" school is the last 2 years, how the school prepares the kids for psle exam and who are your kids’ teachers in those last 2 years. You will get to see the "real" school in those last 2 years.

Hi, ALPS is the nearest school to my place. May I know from parents who have their kids in this school if you have any insights on the school? I’m looking for a school whereby (1) Nurturing environment with good friends and supportive teachers, (2) Good exposure to both academic and non-academic, (3) Decent PSLE Results. I’m deciding between Alexandra Primary vs Radin Mas vs Fairfield
