Hi all,
Just wonder anyone received any rejection email from SCGS or any updates from them?

Last year, SCGS was quite late. Think their target is 4 Sep this year cos if you call the school, they will keep repeating that you “will receive an email from us by 4 September”.
Then again, they have been mostly behind the timelines posted on their website this year, maybe they weren’t expecting this many applicants.

Has ACSI given out all rejection emails last week? Are there anyone waiting for CO/WL? Will there be another round of rejection letter? I’m referring to sports domain

SCGS and Nanyang but most likely not keen on Nanyang anymore as Chinese is her weakest subject. In any case, she hasn’t gotten the offers for these 2 schools yet.

Just asking in advance as got the MGS offer today n she said she thinks she performed the worse in MGS DSA but who knows cuz it’s just what she said and thinks and she might get rejection from the other schools. But all this while wondering why some ppl chose O level over IP/IB when they get AL6 or better so I guess it’s to keep overseas options open if parents can afford it.

Maybe can wait until all options are present in front of you, before you go through with your girl what was the reason you first put MGS and no preference instead of IPIB.

There are many different families situations and preferences. Eg. BPGH has students range from AL5 to AL12 entered. For 2021 PSLE batch, MGS had AL4 to AL8 non affiliated entered O level, IPIB ranged AL4 to AL7. U can check historical records. But what's matter most is your girl's opinion with parents guidance of course.
ESIS is awarded to top 1/3 of students entering independent schools only. So the BPGH AL5 kid will not receive ESIS.
Just to note that there are yearly ESIS, Sec 3 ESIS, JC ESIS for those who missed out in P6.

Hi, I am also another kanjiong parent. My neighbour contacted CHS and the response she received was that CHS has set the date of release to 11/9. Anyone else received different response from CHS?

Looks like CHS is postponing the date of release. Keep calm , parents.

I am wondering about the same. But, seems like the Principal talk for CO/WL already happened on Monday, so I doubt there will be any more CO/WL. Though not sure why all rejection letters aren’t sent as yet. Even I did not receive anything for academics domain.

Is the ACSI’s briefing for all IP/SEC students? For CO students or both COs & WLs? Wonder what’s the number of intake for IP & SEC respectively? Was told the no. for IP is limited due to smaller cohort. Also if the domain matters?
