My neighbour gave me basil leaves and cuban oregano leaves.

What is the easiest way to eat them?

Wah nice to see it on them!
Haha, was thinking to save some money on a black evening gown since she would only be wearing it for 3hrs. Quite glad she likes it too.

Unfortunately, my DD2 couldn’t fit in because her body shape took after my hubby’s.

If it is a handful, can add to your pasta. I like basil. It is a very versatile herb and it goes well with most seafoods. For oregano can use for grilling chicken/lamb or add to your beef burgers

If a lot, make into pesto.

Actually just google. Lots of recipes

              Tks funz.
              I did google.
Anybody tried making basil leaves tea?
Just wash a few leaves, add boiling water and let the leaves soak for about 30min. Then can drink the water.

My girl will never be able to wear my dresses. She is a lot curvier than I am and unfortunately shorter.

I still have jeans and shorts that I’ve been wearing since my early 20s and am still wearing them. Really value for money. In terms of ‘girl math’, think they cost less than 10 cents per wear now some even less than 1 cent per wear as these are stuff that I wear rather frequently. I have a few dresses that was from my 20s as well. Will bring them out to wear when I have any semi formal events. Still wearable.

I can still wear the cotton batik qipao I wore for my tea ceremony, but had to let out the hip area a bit. Wedding dress was rented. Evening dress (calf-length) was used for a few formal events; the last time was after I had 1 child. I still have it but not sure if my girls will ever use it. The younger one is shorter and stockier; the older one doesn’t like fancy clothes but could probably fit.

I’ve gained some weight over the years, and some fat has redistributed!

I doubt I could pull up those jeans I wore in my 20s. Currently I can just feel happy with the pants feeling looser at hips and waist and my arms area. To go back there still have many kgs to go.

Many of my young adult clothes were all passé. DH used to laugh & ask me to get new ones. I did. keep a few very nice silk & chiffon dresses & long skirts though & wear them occasionally for dinners & events. Keeping my cheongsams as I think I can pass down. It’ll be sth unique for passing down.

All my old slacks & jeans are really ofd & too loose at the bottom. Also had changed after birthing as hips & waistlines changed drastically then. I worked very hard to slim down & can fit into capri tights. I figure will not hv much changes from now except when I do strink as I age. That’ll be ano change of wardrobe I suppose.

Basils can do pesto with pine seeds if u’ve lots. I s’times use as toppings for my pizza or cook with my pasta. Yes, Basil drinks suppose to be health drinks esp holy Basil.

Cuban Oregano use for roast chicken or grills.
