Taking the opportunity of the upcoming National Day, our Creative Mixed Media Art little artists will be drawing orchid flowers from a still-life set-up and painting bold colours and strokes as inspired by Angus Wilson.

There was this legend of a beautiful woman Chang’e who flew to the moon and a jade rabbit was sent to the moon.....if you are lucky, you may spot the shadow of the rabbit on the moon every 15th day of 8th lunar month!

This is the famous folktale known to many of us as the origin of Mid-Autumn Festival, a traditional festival celebrated by the Chinese culture. In this festival, children will have fun with lanterns under the moonlight! And of course, not forgetting the mooncakes! From the traditional salted egg lotus paste to novelty rose lychee snow skin, mooncakes nowadays come in yummy flavour with interesting designs.

Artistori Discovery Arts Camp (23 - 25 Nov)

We're back with another Holidays Arts Camp. This November, join us for our Discovery Arts camp. Our Litte Artists will be diving into new discoveries and adventures in this 3-day camp. The camp is structured to be fun and engaging for all ages starting from 4 years old to 12 years old.

We are introducing our Little Artists to new activities such as:

Horse Riding
Sun Printing
Floral Arrangments

We will encourage learning through the arts as our little artists pick up new skills in painting, drawing, coloring, and more.

At Artistori, we value exposure to different types of art, and this camp will provide them with an environment where they can explore and create their own works of art. Our experienced instructors will guide each child through a series of activities and challenges that will allow them to express themselves creatively through the arts. Project Description:
Our Junior Artists will dive into the world of Chinese ink painting, one of the oldest traditional art forms in the world. The classical style of Chinese ink painting flourished during the Tang Dynasty and was passed down through generations of painters.

A typical Chinese ink painting requires careful drawing with fine lines first to represent the exaggerated likenesses of subjects, followed by washes of ink and color added carefully layer by layer. Our Junior Artists will take on the challenge of painting a classic lotus flowers landscape. Join us as we learn about how to paint in this traditional style!

Project Date: 30 Nov - 15 Jan (7 weeks)
Suitable For: Primary 2 - Primary 5
