No i’m not in the gov healthcare system at all (other than the Covid vaccination records). Never been to a polyclinic before, no health problems either. :?[/quote]
Ditto for me, have received reminder as well.

I do flu vaccinations twice a year plus completed the recommended adult vaccinations, info gets uploaded by the clinic.

      Don't think I fall into any \"high risk\" category

        Looks like it is random.

For easily past 5years I had all my records with Polyclinic even my first 2 covid vaccination, blood tests etc. We can choose Polyclinic as our main clinic right? I think I will do that.

We took flu jab only when we stayed overseas but not when on holiday/extended holiday. I don't remember taking flu jab here. Annual affairs definitely a no. That's why when watched the video feeling a little puzzled. I know some will take but didn't know that it is so encouraged.

and Good morning to you esteema 😄

My family takes flu jab since free from company.

I bring my dad for flu jab yearly too.

I seriously dont know if the flu jab is helpful/useful. I take for a peace of mind.

Maybe if your husband is in public sector? I'm making a wild guess! My husband and I are definitely in the polyclinic system, and just a few months away from our 60th birthdays, yet haven't been invited yet. I suppose there is some system they are working by, so we'll wait and see.

You can't really know if it helps - but if you don't take it and get flu, then you may regret not taking the jab! Like MKS, my family used to get the flu jab annually when we lived overseas, mainly so that we might hopefully avoid getting flu in winter. Living in Singapore, we only got the flu jab if travelling overseas during the winter of the destination country. We reckoned that there's no winter in Singapore and we are all generally healthy, so even if we get flu, we'll just get over it.
