Hi, i wonder is it must to pass or get the swim safer stage 3 before p6? My kid is very scared of water. So i am planning just let her pass the stage 2 is enough.
However, i heard from others if you don’t get the swim safer stage 3 meaning when you go to secondary schools … school will arrange a swimming lesson after school to learn for stage 3 and it is mixed unisex learning together. Is it true?
If only get swim safer stage 2 in primary … does it mean secondary still need to learn after school and must get stage 3?
As i prefer kids more focus in study rather than swimming if they are not aim swimming as professional in future
No need lah. Mine confirm dun have.

not necessary. Depend on your view. If your child is a boy and singaporean or PR then they shall obtain at least stage 3 due to the NS.

Depend on the school. Not all the secondary school will have swim safer program.
