      Still feeling pain?[/quote]
Thanks for asking. I was busy chkg info and around lunch time realised the pain almost gone. Went out for walk and grocery shopping after dinner. Carry a bag of grocery and can feel some pain coming back. Better refrain from carrying heavy stuff next few days.

It cleared up at my office by 4pm. It was still raining over at your side till late?

When I got home, I saw that someone had left 2 big pails out in the open to collect rainwater, and they were full to the brim! Not sure who did that, but they must be very frugal! Or wanting to get unchlorinated water, I guess.
Gardeners typically love rain water for its minerals for their plants. I collect them at one stage when I started my mint collection & the propagation root very fast & furious. Maybe yr neigbor is an avid gardener?

Hi to all the experienced mummies and daddies …
can anyone share how you deal with “overly-concerned” relatives, colleagues, neighbours etc etc on the PSLE result release day?

I had enough answering for the past 1 year on PSLE-related topics :siam:
Just be vague - \"We're happy with the results\", \"Good enough\", \"About what we expected\" etc, then change the subject quickly! For the most inquisitive who won't let it go, just say that your family has agreed not to disclose the exact results, or that it's your child's request not to disclose.

If you change the subject and keep talking, you can deflect the questions, and hopefully they will get distracted (or you can leave!).

Maybe tell them…let’s talk abt adult’s issues…leave the kids alone.

Experiment with different ways to carry loads - I prefer to use bags slung on my shoulders (both sides for good distribution) rather than in my hands. Backpacks are good too, or trolleys. I find that if I carry heavy loads in my hands, my wrist issues recur. Try to get the heaviest stuff delivered rather than carry them yourself.

                  And stretch daily!

That's true. I noticed the pain at my left side more intense and I been carrying at my left shoulder. I must hv some pull there. I will bring more reusable bags so that each carry some to distribute the weight.

Ikr, i got messages from long lost ex colleagues and even music teacher asking abt this, 2 years ago.
But we were lucky, due to covid, the release was in individual classroom and our tr didn't post overall class results.

I did what slmkhoo said, and babbled on abt \"world crisis\" haha...

Think back. For us was quite easy to manage. Family members never ask. Long known neighbors only asked IP or O, long after results out. We had dinner with dh’s friend and family right after dd1’s results. And they were nice to console dd instead…their kids mixture of academic achievements with plans for overseas edu. Another neighbor also with such plan with their older kid…so usually they don’t quite bothered I feel.

For me, I never ask for their results…only on few occasions asked how much they bought their new place…which immediately I felt may be abit too invasive, but mouth too fast.
