any reason you didnt aim for IP as 1st choice?

ASCI is DS dream school. He tried for the DSA but unfortunately not successful. So now have another chance again, definately will give a try.
ACSI IP cop is 7. I don’t think it will go to 8. So will not waste his chance. So will try for ACSI OL. -
Some numbers from Singstat,
Enrolment In Government And Government-Aided Primary Schools By Level And Age:
2015 P1 40,063 - P6 in 2020
2016 P1 38,904 - P6 in 2021
2017 P1 36,885 - P6 in 2022 (tiger year)
2018 P1 37,671 - P6 in 2023
Top schools COP did not change much last year, hence (guessing) they will not change much this year, assuming DSA numbers have not changed much. -

Congrats! always the case, kids change their minds.
ok, gotten my gal's result and her result surprises us with AL6.. and what is more surprising is after recent chat with my sil, now my gal is open for girl school but still no for SAP school. that alone helps a lot and have more options now, not restricted to Co-ed. With her result she could even apply RGS since the cut-off point for RGS is 6, We will have Cedar girl (IP) as 2nd choice and Cedar Girl (O-lvl) as 3rd choice. make sense? she is ok with either school..
2nd choice will catch her well if not balloted into RGS. so quite safe. -

Sg citizens has better chance than others in balloting. but order matters so 2nd choice is risky as those with AL8 will get in first. Hence, the safety net is 3rd choice likely to catch him, is he ok with ending up in RV in worse case scenario? -

Ya not sure if we should drop the risky COP AL 8 and put another safety net of AL 10-11. He has few friends going to RV, so he is comfortable with RV.
I can understand.

Hi everyone
Wanted to check if anyone has prior experience of getting a subject revalued. DD was pretty good with Science. Got AL1 in prelims. Did well in the PSLE exam but has got AL3 in it. Is it worth appealing for revaluation. -

I search it up and found this from MOE site. Those from posting group 2, with subject AL score 5 or better, has the option to study the subject at G3 level.
With FSBB, students will no longer be grouped into form classes by their posting groups. And posting groups will not define students school experiences and future pathways. It will be about students’ performance in each subject :
https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/politics/askst-what-are-posting-groups-and-how-are-they-different-from-academic-streams
I too have the same question as oOskyblueOo.
For this set of results
English - 5
Maths - 6
Mother Tongue - 5
Science - 5
If accepted into PG3, all 4 subjects will be taken at G3 level?
If accepted into PG2, Math has to be taken at G2 level
and the other 3 subjects have to option to be taken at G3 level? So the only difference is on the Math subject between PG3 and PG2?
