One of my own main stress is whenever I think of why I let go of my career ..end of day both also 'don't have achievements'. Esp when we are not the young ones ie gave birth early then by the time go out again still young. Those kind of feelings not easy to overcome..well we can suppress but guess difficult to eliminate. Sometimes I gave up thinking abt it..will feel very light. But whenever I see those friends around me living exciting and purposeful lives, I will kinda of think..how nice if I have that too. Well, now can only think kids should be happy that I been around with them..dh has much lesser worries and able to focus on his job. For me, I will just maybe increase my passive income? Maybe that can be considered 对得起自己吧。。
Also, there will be things that may be beyond our control. No point stressing over it. 兵来将打 水来土挡 -

There is no right or wrong in giving up your career to look after your girls and family. Many women did so.
For me, I couldnt bec I need to support my own parents.
Move on, when your girls are in sec sch, you can step out to rejoin the workforce. -

There are stalls in hawker stores which accept the CDC vouchers.
A new pile of $500 worth of CDC vouchers will be coming on 3 Jan 2024. -

It is painful. The first time I tried to use it at a hawker centre and the proprietor was black face and kept muttering how inconvenient it was and how they are going to say no next time to setting it up. That turned me off and I remembered the vouchers only when my sister reminded me last week. Luckily you can transfer the coupons to let other people use them and she used $90 of my stash. So now left like $40+ dollars.
