Saw your post yesterday and it gave us scary thoughts! My car more than 1yr old so not considered new anymore.

When we reached hotel at 9pm… hub asked me should we go check if our car was still there. 😂

But I cannot already cos my legs are giving way after shopping for 10hrs non-stop in Mid Valley.
It's only in Singapore that a 1-yr-old car is \"not new\"! I think it should still be considered new in most countries.

10 hrs! I am tired after 2 hrs.

Initially I wanted to go KSL Mall cos I stayed there twice before. But a friend strongly recommended this Mid Valley Southkey, so I gave it a try.

Once I entered Mid Valley, I felt I was in Paragon with grand, beautiful granite flooring and a chandelier. When I reached level 2, the flooring become ceramic tiles and the feel is like at Vivo City. If walk to the basement, it felt like IMM. 😂

Overall, I rate it 8/10. The supermarket, Village Grocer is too small. I think it’s a very nice mall for Singaporeans. More than half the mall was filled with Singaporeans.

Last night for dinner, we tried Quivo Restaurant after I read about its good reviews. The food was indeed very nice like the Truffles fries, Flaming wings, Mac and Cheese, Salmon with Parmesan crust… Will go back again next trip.

My friend took the KTMB train alone to shop at City Square Mall JB. Went in in the early weekday morning to buy things from pharmacy, some bread/Donuts etc., then take a 5 min train ride back to SG at 4pm. You may want to try that after sch reopens.

To share some unpleasant experiences we had just now. I bought a train ticket from easybook.com for DD2 to go back on her own as she has something on tonight. But to our horror, she couldn’t enter the CIQ checkpoint as there is no record of her for the train ride. Went to KTM counter to check and was informed that easybook.com is not an authorized ticketing agent!

Poor DD2 had to cross over the two borders by foot alone. So scary leh… sob sob…

What a nasty experience. Did you find out how come Easybook can sell the tickets but KTM doesn't recognise it? Sounds strange.

5mins ride only..will chk it out but taking bus may be a little more convenient/comfortable coz I took it before.

You must be very worry when yr dd need to cross the border by foot herself! This online ticket counter is really bad, received money but no valid ticket given.

Am on a shopping spree; maybe is due to year-end festive season, GST going up again etc.

Bought new pillows, bolsters and a handbag.
Planned to buy some new clothes too.

Today is a day of feeling extra carefree for us…had early dinner last night, watched movie at home and I slept earlier coz drank some wine. This morning I woke up at 4+am then remember J actually may have some notes for dds in my own laptop. Totally forgotten abt it. Went back to sleep till 9+am…cooked fried rice in morning with rice left over fm dinner. Had a good talk with dds on studies/financial etc. Feel that dd1 has changed during this holiday…will ‘dia’ me and hug me more…initially I do feel a little awkward lol…dd2 has grown a lot more…had wanton noodles then walked at a park, pizza, grocery shopping and another round of grocery shopping before home. Had some rice cakes and wine…like not much effect thought will be like last night can go sleep early.
