May I know if we are able to purchase altogether the new Sec 1 books, Uniforms and PE attires at RI school on a single day? Uniform and PE attires are 2 different suppliers?!
The website stated delivery preferred but we also need to measure and have samples sizes to compare with the boy’s body measurements, right?
Anyone has prior experience to share? Many tks! -

Should be possible. The 2 suppliers selling PE attires and uniforms respectively are located next to each other in the same room but go in through different door. Textbooks are sold in the school bookshop next door but when I went on Monday, bookshop ladies mentioned that they cannot sell to non-DSA students yet in case of any changes in booklists. From the notification posted by RI, bookshop is opened from 22 Dec, 26 Dec-29Dec for Sec1 posting students. Uniforms sale will be available too. So I believed yes, you can get all on the same day but have to q to measure and try uniforms repeat again for PE attire.

Hi all,
I saw the year 1 booklist, must I get all the Higher Chinese books AND Normal Chinese books? I tot the boys are all doing HCL? For my boy’s pri sch, doing HCL don’t need normal Chinese books?
And for the math textbooks, do we also buy the sec 2 math textbooks? Or just the sec 1?
In short, do I purchase ALL of the textbooks listed, eg sec 1 & 2 math textbooks, O level sciences textbooks and the HCL + CL textbooks plus workbooks?
For uniform, I assume lower sec boys wear white shorts hor, not long pants?
Think min 3 sets of uniforms and 3 sets of PE attire sets + 1 black polo shirt enough, if joining Sports cca? Will they need to go back on Saturdays too?
If I purchase the books for self collection at RI, also need 5-7 working days In for order to be ready as stated on the Casco website?
Is it better I just walk in at RI and purchase all books+uniforms altogether on 1 day?
But also read that security guard need to see you booking confirmation before they allow you into the school? So meaning can’t walk in?

Either HCL or CL textbooks depending on what your son is taking.

We didnt buy any. School's notes and practice papers are more than enough. Cant even finish

White shorts for year 1 and 2

3 sets are more than enough. you need to buy polo shirt and house tshirt as well. cca tshirt will only come after you join the cca.

Where or how can we find out about the private bus operator for RI? Residing in Pasir ris currently and would like to find out about the private bus transport if any. -

LASTLY #1 - best to check attire fit on-site before leaving the 2 temporary attire shops. unfortunately no changing room available on-site. Attire seller will tell you that you cannot try size in toilets before the purchase.

YES. i remember security guard asking to see booking slip. at least for 1st purchase visit. i had to return a second time, to exchange some uniforms, and only had to show security the receipt

LASTLY #2 - plan for growth spurts
The bookshop does sell attire once new school term starts
LASTLY #3 - no need to rush for \"sweaters/hoodies/raincoats...\" at the attire shops. wait the house jacket (which will be designed and sold by the students in March.
LASTLY #4 - last year, one of the attire shop (selling uniform shorts) did not issue paper receipts. so remember to INSIST ON TAKING A PICTURE of your transaction slip. else you will have a very hard time exchanging/returning the attire.
