Hi parents. Is it necessary to buy all the books on the booklist? My DD said teachers hardly use textbooks especially for math and science coz teachers will give out their own materials.

Yes. They never use the maths textbooks ans science textbook at all, notes are given. At least my ds refer to the science textbooks (for 4 yrs) when he wants read up more details. I remember that they also didn't touch the literature text too (at least for my ds case). 🤷🏻‍️

Yes. They did use.

The text book they use are history and Math. Math they often do question from textbook. History they do refer for some facts. Geography also but I find it less. Chinese is a must

Y1, my son only used chinese and history textbooks. Math, Science and I think Geo untouched. Lit book also didn’t use.

Literature, by definition, is reading by books. How can it not have textbooks?? Sorry... these digitizing mumbo-jumbo is getting out of hand

They were using short stories like Sredni Vashtar instead. We bought 'The Little Prince' but not used. :scratchhead:

Y2 supposed to be Julius Caesar… bought the book, not cheap. Let’s see if it’s being used at all.
