Erm, the COP for ACSI’s IB track is AL7. So not 12 kids but 3-4 kids out of 30.
Using your nunbers from the p1 class
Assuming the geppers did well enough
12 out of 30 got AL8 and below?
That’s 40%
I also think it’s top heavy.
And if u were thinking of the COP for ACSI’s O level track, it is not AL8 but in fact AL13 for affiliated boys. -

40% (3+7+2) get AL13 or better. That's top heavy, vs ~25% (nationwide)

Hopefully some other parents can provide other anecdotal data points if they have.

The school does not take any particular steps to disclose the high scorers or their marks publicly. It doesnt seem to be the culture, unlike at other schools. -
Also, if you have 4 boys getting AL7 or better, that is 13.3%. Even 3 boys means 10% getting AL7 or better and that is better than national AL8 or better.
I believe no other school disclosed such figures anymore since 2016 or earlier (I think). They removed ranking in report book then. the only indicators are MOE edusave awards. -

I know of a neighborhood school which discloses to P6 parents on psle results day, how many pupils in their school scored AL5, AL6, AL7, AL8. And i dont think it is the only primary school which does so.

Thank you zac’s mum (I’m a fan!) and other parents for your kind sharing. Goes a long way in managing expectations. Really much appreciated.

15 boys in barker, are they all express? -
At lower end, 15-3-1+12=23 is 76% in express.
At upper end, 15-1-1+12=25 is 83% in express.
Vs
National 68.4%
