I gave up trying to get this sort of vouchers, especially when the minimum purchase amounts are so much higher than my normal purchases. And also the higher rebates or whatever offered by credit cards - my credit card spending almost never meets the minimum spend.
I usually ignore this kind of promotion because it will cause us to over purchase in order to make up the S$80. I only purchase what I really want not because of any promotion.
I will sometimes buy things a bit earlier when I see a good sale, but only those things my family normally consumes. -
I haven't check what we need to buy yet. But need buy eggs and veg right now. Egg is expensive now near $10
wait dds say want hotdog bun then can buy a few packets coz once they eat they want eat several times. Yesterday ate ToriQ say today want to eat the same. -

Yeah... I think it is a very nefarious idea scheme too... but what to do... I'm too hard up for free things
Me too. I don’t like to have all sorts of T&C imposed on me. Worst is force myself to fill up the cart then at check out counter tell me OOS liao.
Anyway, I am very forgetful... last year, it took me less than 1 month to finish the supermarket vouchers (and I got 2 free vouchers, yay) and yet by December, I had to give the \"hawker points\" to my sister to use as I have totally forgotten about them
OK, I will try to be less lazy and buy useful things instead of coconut water this time.

We try to use up vouchers quickly so as not to lose the momentum and end up forgetting to use them. It's easy for us as I shop at neighbourhood stores a lot, and we also eat a hawker centres often. The difficulty is using the $10 vouchers in hawker centres - we have to use them when we eat out as a family. And supermarket vouchers are easy to use up when you're feeding a family.

Me too…after collecting the ntuc vouchers then stopped using till end of year gave it family member.

I am receiving lot of supermarkets vouchers each year from my company as part of the remuneration but I never use them, I will immediately sell them to my colleagues at a discount price and encash them into cash. It is because I don’t want to over purchase because of these vouchers and I am also afraid I may forget to use them before their expiry date. Cash is King.

The CDC 2024 vouchers will be available from 3 Jan.
Claim period too short leh. They shld extend till end of the month.
From 3 Jan to 17 Jan, we must chiong to buy stuff to get this Return Voucher.
Are we buying for the sake of the Return Voucher?
Is the service provider truly cares about his customers or merely want to boost his sales? -
Every year during CNY period, there are always this type of return vouchers promo. I remember Cold Storage also gave but sometimes need to use certain credit cards to make payment. Like spent $50 to get a $5 return voucher.
Maybe during CNY, most people buy a lot to cook for CNY eve feast or as gifts. Pineapple tarts, packeted drinks, dried mushrooms etc all not cheap. Just 2 cans of NZ abalones easily already $70? -
