      hihi

i plan to invite my family to my place for a small catch up (lunch).
not thinking of using caterers due to budget constraints.

thinking of preparing just 1 dish - finger food using air fryer.
the rest, about 5 or 6 dishes i intend to buy.
abit headache where to order for the main dish (fried rice or noodle or any suggestion)
      any suggestions please? budget 🙂
Just head down to your favourite zhichar place; order 1 large portion of fried rice, 1 large portion of beehoon (these don’t go soggy easily), and add on other sides eg prawn paste fried chicken, sambal kangkong etc etc. That’s what i do when we have 10 pax Chinese gatherings.

Usually if nearby i will just go an hour before dinnertime & wait there while they cook. Lunch is a bit tricky as some only open kitchen at 11am. Try to get their phone number the next time u pass by. And ask them how much notice they need, whether they will call your HP when ready for pickup etc.

Roughly which area do u live? Maybe someone can recommend a few options near there?

If you have kids in the group… don’t forget they will love some lollipops. Can get many types from Snack21.com Round.jpg
