Peobably, soon can go CC take up courses, plan for holidays like some of you. I met up with a lady last year, all her kids are working/coming out to work and she spends like 4 days a week doing various exercise, mostly at cc.

Depends on what matters to you. Purpose is important - whether exercising or helping others or working or whatever. I can't see myself taking exercise or dance classes several times a week like some people I know!

Actually same, I can't see myself doing exercise/dance for so many days in a week too. Also cannot see myself meeting friends just for eating/drinking for most of the time.

Situation that you are in now I think is good..you can still balance your life..mentally, socially, financially plus spending time travelling with your dh.

agree, Purpose is a main driver. when i cant really find a purpose, i will find it draining , stressful ... sian...

I and DH always have a purpose - to earn enough money so that we can retire and do what we want to do, never feel sian lah because our money is still not enough today. But we can now play boradgames, eating buffet with our 酒肉朋友, watching our favorable shows in youtube and talking to Mrs. Kaisu and Star here ...where got boring?.... :rotflmao:

All true except the \"financially\" part! Especially now that my paid work is so negligible! Almost all I do now is unpaid, but we are ok with that. That part of the balance is supported by my husband. But since he doesn't mind, I don't let it bother me.

Can i ask those in HR/hiring role or those with kids applying for internships recently…what free software do ppl use to make their resumes nowadays huh? I saw some very nice templates on Canva etc but need to pay? No truly free ones? My traditional one is on Microsoft Word but somehow expired (grrrr microsoft licence!) and now i’m looking for free alternatives.
