We stayed at the Cosmopolitan hotel when we were there in June. This is one of the few hotels that have family room. Our room has 2 Queen sized beds. It is not as convenient as some of the other hotels but still within walking distance to times square. We paid about S$260+/nite for that room.Hi,
Looking for good hotel recommendations. We are doing HK in November during school hols.
Looking at 6 adults and 3 children. Consists of us + 3 kids, my parents and his parents.
I am hoping to find serviced apartment that is reasonably priced and well located. Currently exploring YMCA and Citadines... Any other recommendation. Preferably 3 rooms. Worst case, hubby + 1 child sleep with his parents. While me + girls sleep with my parents.
Most of the hotels in Hkg have a restriction on how many pple to a room. Max is 2 adults and 2 young kids. My friend who has 3 kids had no choice but to book an additional room or look for apt or hotels with family rooms. -

Thanks for the advice and the watchouts.
Actually hoping to find a place at TST area. Preferably somewhere convenient as I foresee that the youngest will probably be tired after a day of touring. We will also be mostly travelling on MTR or buses.
As we've 6 adults and 3 kids. We are thinking of 2A + 1 C in each room. -
hi MMM
You may want to check out Marco Polo Gateway and Marco Polo Prince.
About 5-10min walk to TST MTR station via underground tunnels.
Both are located within HarbourCity. Thus when kids are tired, they can rest in the room while the adults can shop some more within HarbourCity and DFS is just across a small street.
There are ample cafe, food court and restaraunt within and around harbourcity so food is not an issue too. -
Hi there, trying to source for a nice hotel in Causeway Bay, Times Square area…any suggestions or reviews?
Pssttt, just so you know, CX has a package that works out to be just like SGD 300+ (more or less depends on the class of hotel you choose) more for a 4-day 3 night fly and stay package. -

The YMCA @ Saisbury, next to the Peninsula Hotel, has apartment type for families. It is also within spitting distance to Harbourcity

I search online just now.
Airtickets + tax for 1 adult and 2 kids = SGD759.00 (Mid of Oct) ... sound expensive to me....... or is reasonable :? -
Hi,
I’ve booked for Citadines Hong Kong Ashley. It’s in TST area and according to tripadvisor feedback, 2mins walk to TST MTR.
We booked the studio executive/ premier so it comes with queen size bed and a sofa bed. Based on floorplan, they also have a small kitchen. They also have free internet and all these for HKD$1070 nett. We compared with YMCA/ YWCA? and it’s still cheaper. We’ve 6A and 3C.
I’ve stayed in citadines property in Shanghai before and we are pleased with their apartment.
Anyone familiar with Macau? We are planning of staying over at The venetian on one of the nights. But the website rate seems to differ with no. of guests??? We are planning of booking 2 suites and 9 of us will stay there.
