Me Time!

Went for the event "Play Play Fair" at Fusionpolois yesterday. Helping my friend who is a game designer to demonstrate his new games. There were many parents bringing their kids here for fun. We taught a father and his kids, one boy and one girl for social deduction games and played a game
called "Carrier" with them. Surprise, the kids had played very well. Hope there will be more this kind of events in future. -

Yes. Coz of after midnight rain, morning was tempted to sleep-in except that I’ve to go fetch MIL for church. By the time service was over, it temp went up very fast!
Sunday morning at 7am was really cold though
It was great for my morning walk. Probably because it rained during the night. -
I really don’t know where to ask this, so asking here!
I have some friends passing through Sg at the end of July, and they would like to do some sightseeing, like a half-day city tour. Only thing is that they can only speak Mandarin, no English. I’ve looked at Klook and the tours seem to only be in English, and private tours with a Chinese-speaking guide will be too expensive. Anywhere else I could look? We prefer not to have to take them around ourselves during the days (all weekdays). We will take care of the evenings. They are not experienced travellers, and one of them can’t walk too far.
I thought of the Hop-on Hop-off Bus - comments on this? -

Can they take MRT or taxi themselves? Actually half a day is short duration and maybe just go to a place of interest in Spore is enough.

Where will they be staying? If they’re anywhere near MRT, they can take the train to & back to ChinaTown. There’s so much to do there with shopping, there are a few clans & the touristy Indian Temple. Lots of food you can list for them to try - ChinaTown Point, Hong Lim 抽粿条, Hokkien Prawn Noodles, etc or the Maxwell Food Centre just up fr the Maxwell MRT stn (Thomson-East Coast Line - TE 18).

Ano possible F&E ride to Gardens by the Bay (TE 22) and they’ll not be lost easily with guides directing them within the gardens.
VivoCity/Harbourfront is ano possible place to spend half a day & if they’re challenged, it’ll be hard to incl Sentosa. Anyway, the beaches stinks of oil now, so might be necessary to skip.
If they’re into books, Bras Basah is ano train frdly destination, o’wise you can let them try our local libraries in the city.
I usually point tourist to incl Little India & Joo Chiat but it’ll be though for them to ask their way around I suppose.
Depending on their interests, there might be more you can suggest & guide them to easily find their way ard that’re near stns. I find Most of our stns hv Chinese-speaking staff who can give them directions. -
They will be staying near MRT. With very limited time, we’ll have to see what they want to do as well. Not sure whether how much they want to eat and shop, vs sightseeing. Just trying to be prepared to advise them (or book ahead) depending on what they say they want to do.

In a neighbourhood coffee shop, not all stalls accept CDC voucher. I hv to look for the CDC sticker or even ask the stallholder if he accepts CDC vouchers.
I guess we hv to accept some inconvenience
