        Hi,

our p1 child is now with swim alliance. May I know if anyone has any review on that? We are looking at improving the swim timings. Thank you.

I accidently joined a swimming club without actually looking 😂 I sent my 4yo kid to learn swimming with 4 other kids in a swimming pool in Paya Lebar (where the Shell Club used to be at) and when they shut down the place, the coach told me to go to the swimming pool at RI in Bishan instead. So I went there and was stunned. At 7pm everyday, they will just let the kids swim lengths of the pool by themselves under the watchful eyes of the coach standing at the end of the pool. You can just go as many times as you want. Being the competitive me, I went like everyday and within a few months, my son was swimming like a fish including butterfly 😓

He got all his swimming certificates before he was 6yo.

The offer of 4 free swim%20lessons for $100 plus $55 for mandatory equipment seems like a good opportunity to try a different program. However, be aware that the \"free\" lessons are actually a deposit for stoppage notices, which is a common practice to ensure commitment. swimmingcourses.sg/free…

            Before changing coaches, consider:

            1. Discussing your concerns with the current instructor

            2. Observing other classes or programs

            3. Checking reviews and testimonials from other parents

Remember, swimming is a life skill, and patience is crucial. With the right program and consistent practice, your son will likely make progress. The most important factors are safety, enjoyment, and gradual skill development.

For more detailed information on policies and programs, the website swimmingcourses.sg appears to be a valuable resource. It's worth exploring to understand the various options available for your son's swimming education.
