@zac-s-mum Talk about cooking - I’m looking forward to getting my kitchen up and running! We had the cabinets replaced last Tuesday, and will only get the counter and sink installed tomorrow, and the gas on Thursday! More than a week without a functioning hob and sink! We’ve had to dabao or eat out for most meals, and although I try to cook a veg dish (in the microwave), we’re all tired of outside food. Actually, cooking would be ok as I have microwave, oven, airfryer, crock pot, rice cooker… but washing up without a decent-sized sink is a pain, so I’ve been avoiding cooking whole meals.

Slmkhoo, must be exciting to look forward to a new kitchen to be all ready. Me too, after outside food for a while I will miss home cooking even the simplest meal.

Zac’s mom… yes I do enjoy my new kitchen toys. I always look forward to use them. Just wish that I could use them more often.

I baked egg tarts and cinnamon rolls at the same time… hmm textures came out quite different likely due to the timing. Both kids like different bakes.

I had my first purchase fm Amazon failed. I somehow managed to get a good value Dutch oven during the Amazon sale. Had a msg delivered but never received. I checked with courier co and was told that delivery not to my address. Checked with seller, seller gave many excuses but kept reassuring me that it is on the way to me. When sent a msg to seller last night, received notification seller no longer able to receive msg fm me as may be left etc. I think I should be able to get back my money fm the platform but just the ding dong here and there and my anticipation for the pot left me a little disappointed… never mind I need to re evaluate see if that is what I really need then.

Mp, I can receive your msg…but after I clicked to reply, this whole notification board of black color background will be on top of the msg… don’t know how to get it away yet… this is new toy lol need some time to get familiar with.

@MrsKiasu For HP, i use my finger to swipe the black panel to the right. It will go away & then can see the main msg screen.

yes, this one more troublesome. Even if i tick the “remember me” box, I will still be automatically logged out of here after a couple of days or so.

Also cannot edit post even to correct spelling, unless within 5 min of posting

@MrsKiasu I think it is some “cooldown” feature to prevent spam bots from posting useless stuff.

But i still see gibberish stuff being posted by bots, so i think they are still getting around all the deterrents somehow.

I would go and downvote every single one of them, since it is supposed to block them from posting again, but (1) i think the bot will just create a new username and (2) it takes me too long to do so becos the site is just too laggy!

The recent batch of solar lights I got from shopee/lazada, shipped from China, are of incredibly poor quality. Barely work.

@doodbug oh dear! Leave a review? I chose local seller this round cos i needed mine quickly. Previously bought from taobao (china store) and still working well (non-solar though).
