2024 PSLE Discussions and Strategies

@kylene Shared about this in previous year’s PSLE as well as the O Level CL thread - examiners’ expectations and grading will alter according to difficulty level of the topic/questions. For example, if the topic is relatively easier, than they would expect more in depth elaboration and/or better choice of phrases/vocab.

Not sure if the examiners feel the same as I do ! Personally I feel i阅读 is harder as 健康生活 is like the basic stuff they learn .

@chenlaoshi I can’t find this page and a lot of time I cannot log into this site. But yeah it is very quiet this year .

Finally found this link. IT is very quiet this year. Should we sign up for some last minute bootcamps for Chinese?

@Chin99 Yeah, even before the server migration.

So far 2 Prelim picture compos content I know are:
- 公德心 + 注意安全 (boy who was climbing up a tree in park to pluck fruits got stopped by a man)
- 守秩序 (2 boys rushed to get into the bus, 1 of them got pushed and fell the confronted the other, fight about to happen)

@chenlaoshi I think all the discussion have gone to Facebook and other groups. I find the new format of KSP too confusing to use. It is a pity. I cannot find all my old bookmarks.

@manorway Yeah, the server being unstable/laggy & the spam posts (which affects the recent posts section) doesn’t help either…

Free breakfast for PSLE pupils at Cheers, FairPrice Xpress outlets on Sept 20 and 21
FairPrice Group will be giving out 12,000 free breakfast bundles to Primary 6 pupils who are taking the Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE) in 2024.
In a statement on Sept 11, the FairPrice Group announced that it will distribute the breakfast bundles at 131 Cheers and FairPrice Xpress outlets across the island on Sept 20 and 21.
“Each breakfast bundle, worth more than $20, includes breakfast essentials such as milk, cereal, wholemeal bread, as well as protein from Brand’s Essence of Chicken and canned tuna, to fuel students through their final revisions and examinations,” said the statement.
Those interested in redeeming the bundle can present their student cards or PSLE examination slips for verification at the participating outlets, which can be found on FairPrice Group’s website.
The redemptions are limited to one bundle per pupil and will be given out on a first come, first served basis.
