Me Time!

@chenlaoshi Yes, the spam is bad. There is this “indonesian” syndicate that comes in every couple of hours to spam, which I have been deleting at the same rate.
Is it possible to limit New members to restrict how many new posts they post?
-
@Stevenage That is a good idea. However, I will manage the spammers every couple of hours right now and we will see how that goes.

@ChiefKiasu Thanks Chief. Besides the inappropriate content which pollutes the forum, they mess up the Recent Posts column.

Where are all the old friends,
Try posting some topic then we can chit chat again . -
@MyPillow The new forum is really trying. I’ve asked the programmer to reverse the ordering of posts a month ago and still up to today… nothing.

So kind of you to come here to show support for KSP. The revamped ksp platform is definitely not user friendly. Just a few months ago, I clicked and saw 30+ users and now, only left with 3+ users online at any one time.
Recently there is this hot topic about 1 in 3 teens under severe mental stress and having suicidal thoughts. Sadly, there was no discussion about the issue on the platform, quite unlike in the past. Post revamp, the activity and viewership on ksp dropped by almost 90%, the revamp is really a failure with no visibility on the active threads and counter intuitive to navigate. It was really sad that an influential forum like ksp has fallen so far from grace in such a short time!!

It’s so confusing in here! I don’t know where’s the feedback thread.
And where can we find instructions on adding images and videos?

I think your site is too busy-looking and wordy! There’re too many sneak preview buckets all over the place. Remove the top-most bucket below the masthead as it’s distracting and redundant. The ad can be moved below.
The abstract to describe what each Thread is all about can be moved to L2 upon clicking the Heading.
The central column is too cluttered and narrower than the right-most column! Add coloured/bold Sub-topic Heading to inform who wrote what, when and regarding which sub-topic. So many rubbish can fall under “RECESS” alone. It’s not very intuitive to users now which thread is being discussed.
The right-most column is too wide! Wider than the central column! Is it serving the same function as the right-most column?
Inside the right-most bucket, while there’s a Sub-topic Heading, it only appears once at the top, e.g. “LCentral”. There’s no mention of author/date/time-stamp when subsequent posts are being added by others. As such, this bucket can grow very long, if you do not condense all related posts under the same sub-topic into 1 row.The default Avatars are taking up too much space. The huge bucket is distracting as users don’t put their profile pics anyways. Why not just put the userids? This statistics bucket should be reduced in size.

@lee_yl
Teens n young adults are going through more hectic n stressful life. As parents we must adjust our expectations and give more support to them , whatever is the outcome . Learning should be a joy , going to be life long … so long the right positive mindset is natured n cultivated since young . -
@Zeit Thank you for your feedback! The programmers have finally reversed the order of the posts and things seem more meaningful now. Lets monitor the forum for a couple of days and we shall see what’s next.

I still see the most recent ones at the top, and older ones below.
The right column “recent posts” doesn’t show the author of the post. If there is a username shown, it is the person the reply is directed to - very confusing.
It’s not clear which post a person is responding to, so I get confused about what is being discussed.
