Hi, i’m thinking to put my boy in SJI Junior but understand that it’s a catholic school. How much religious teaching will there be?

@regalaeros Hi! My son was there a couple of years ago. He said there’s a subject called Living Well (for Catholic kids primarily, but others can opt in), where it’s religious themed. He remembers it as a weekly class, 1hr long.

If kids opt out, they’ll attend another class instead (but he’s not sure what’s covered in that class).

According to him, there were also prayers every morning and before dismissal. (Possibly after recess too, but his memory could be hazy.)
