      Hi everyone,
I’m currently on the lookout for a trustworthy maid agency here in Singapore. I’m hoping to find someone who can help with both household chores and caring for the family.

I’ve been browsing online, but there are so many agencies and it’s hard to tell which ones are truly dependable. Ideally, I’m looking for:

      1. Transparent fees
      2. Good track record of matching helpers to the right families
      3. Strong after-sales support if any issues arise
      4. Proper training for the helpers before deployment

Would love to hear your personal experiences, both good and bad, so I can make an informed choice. Which agencies have you worked with, and would you recommend them?

      Thanks in advance!

I’d suggest checking reviews on MOM’s directory or Facebook groups — you’ll find lots of honest feedback from families there. For me, the best agencies are the ones that are upfront about fees and give good support even after placement.

@lakshmiSG563 Hi Lhaksmi! Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 😊
I’ve also heard that different agencies have their pros and cons, so it really depends on what each family needs.

While browsing reviews, I came across some interesting and positive feedback about an agency called EELIT. Have you ever had any experience with them or heard about them before? I’m curious to know your thoughts. Or did you have any other experience regarding that matter?

@anniston1975 hi there. I would suggest to only use MOM registered maid agency. I have come across some friends who direct hire and had to deal with many problems with their helper. I personally have tried afew big maid agencies and the quality of domestic helpers are not so good. I ended up having to deal with so much headaches. I would recommend not so large scale maid agency, they are not so attentive and personalised to your needs. My helper is from this agency Hire A Maid. Really can feel the difference the quality of the helper as compared with my previous ones. You might have to give them a call. Really hope you find a good helper.

@JT16 Hi there! You’re right, I also feel that with some of the bigger agencies, the focus can lean more towards sales targets rather than really understanding what families need, and that can sometimes affect the quality of the match.

After going through a few options myself, I ended up hiring my current helper through EELIT Agency, and the experience was very different. They took the time to understand my household’s needs, were attentive throughout the process, and the helper they matched me with has been a great fit so far.

It really makes a difference when an agency prioritises service quality and long term fit over just numbers
