Happy Tuesday! Hope all families and parents have had a great week so far ๐Ÿ™‚

We have just released an article discussing the topic of โ€œreaching for the starsโ€ and why this may be a phrase worth rethinking.

โ€œReach for the stars.โ€ It is a phrase we hear often. Encouraging. Aspirational. Well-intentioned.

It carries with it an image of limitless potentialโ€”the idea that a child should aim high, dream big, and not be constrained by perceived limits. And yet, when we pause to consider it more carefully, a quieter question emerges:

What does this actually mean to a child, and is it always helpful?

Happy Thursday! Hope all families and parents are looking forward to the end of the school and work week ๐Ÿ™‚

For all parents, we have just released an article discussing how students can develop dimensional thinking.

There is a familiar pattern in how many students learn to approach their work. A question is read. A method is recalled. An answer is produced.

If it matches the expected outcome, it is considered correct. If it does not, it is revisited, often by retracing the same steps, more carefully this time.

On the surface, this appears efficient. But beneath it lies a quieter concern: What happens when a student learns to think only in one direction? There is a tendency to look past the small things. A slightly untidy piece of work. A careless mistake in a familiar question. A rushed answer that โ€œmore or lessโ€ makes sense.

Individually, they seem insignificant. Easy to correct. Easy to overlook. After all, what matters is the bigger picture: the final result, the overall performance, the eventual outcome. But over time, a quiet pattern begins to form. And it is within these small moments that something deeper is taking shape.

Do give it a read and let us know your thoughts!

Happy Saturday! Hope all families and parents have had a great start to the weekend ๐Ÿ™‚

We have just released an article discussing the topic of managing separation anxiety in young children.

Separation anxiety is one of those phases that catches many parents off guard, not because it is unexpected, but because of how intensely it can present itself. A child who was once comfortable suddenly becomes resistant at the point of separation, whether it is at the school gate, a childcare centre, or even a short time apart at home. What seems like a simple goodbye can quickly turn into a moment filled with hesitation, tears, and uncertainty.

For parents, the instinct is immediate and natural: to comfort, to stay, or to ease the situation as quickly as possible. Yet within these moments lies something more significant than just a difficult goodbye. It is the beginning of how a child learns to understand separation, security, and independence.

Do give it a read and let us know your thoughts!
