Seeking science tuition for my 9-year old

Seeking science tuition for my 9-year old - private or tuition Center? If tuition Center, any good ones on the west side to recommend? Thanks!

Teacher Frankie is an experienced tutor (former MOE teacher) who has helped my boy a lot in his science. Engaged him earlier this year, and was able to pull my boy’s grade by quite a bit. I like his teaching plan, which is tailored for my boy. Separately i think depending on your child, individual tuition works for my boy rather than group.

Not sure whether he teaches at the west, but think he usually teaches at north east if i recall when i first engage him. Do contact him at 8139 3075 if any of you need your child needs help for science.

@EmilyG Thanks for your introduction. Have engaged Tutor Frankie to help my child who is having challenges in science, and also since i live in the northeast/. Also with PSLE year, it is going to be quite a dread. Was thinking of going to tuition centers, but afraid he may spend more time having fun there rather than concentrating…so decided to give Frankie a shot. Have good experience dealing with Frankie who was a MOE teacher previously, and pleasantly surprised that he is able to come up with a plan to help tackle the challenges, especially open ended which my child has been doing badly… Seems to be a keyword issue as what Tutor Frankie advised after assessing.

Glad that this is the first time my child was able to perform to this level as usually the score i see is around 50 to 60ish. Really find that kiasuparents forum is very useful in helping find the right tutor especially at such a critical period for my child. ….
