One to one drum lessons for kids and adults in Singapore

Hi everyone, I’m Junaidi, a qualified music teacher and drummer in Singapore. I teach one to one drum lessons for beginners, from kids aged 6 up to adults. We learn through songs students actually enjoy while building solid rhythm and technique.

Lessons are at The Drum Room on Sam Leong Road, near Jalan Besar and Farrer Park. I also teach in-home lessons in the Yishun, Sembawang, Hougang and Ang Mo Kio areas.

With the school holidays coming, drums can be a fun, active, screen-free way to spend the break. Students need a drum set at home for practice, either acoustic or electronic. Every student starts with a trial lesson so you can see whether it’s a good fit.

@jkusnong86 Hi Junaidi! I’m from the KiasuParents team, but also commenting out of personal interest, as I’ve just started taking drum lessons. How would you advise new students to practise at home, if they’re not ready to purchase a drum kit yet? As that’s one challenge that I’m experiencing, where the week flies by and I’ve barely done any practice.

Also, do you offer flexible schedules, eg 2x a month?
