:? Most in phase 1 need not go to school...they would have submitted their forms through siblings...

That's true... so most of the numbers should have be captured on day1... WOnder why is there an influx for HPPS and NYPS on day 2 ??

          Hi chamonix,

So if I didn't read wrongly, your kids will be in different schools like mine.

You will register your daughter in CHIJ OLQP next year ? Mine going to CHIJ in TP. What a coincidence, except they are in different 'branches'. HaHaHa.

Those heart thumping moments are not healthy for any human being.
          Hi Janet,

You've got it right. We are in similar situation. Haha, it's really a coincidence. For us, we go by distance and low stress level in choosing a school. Part of the reason we chose BTPS was because it's one of the nearer school that required no heart thumping moments. 😄 And for CHIJ OLQP, it should be quite safe since we are within 1 km and there aren't many housing estates around. 🙏

A friend told me there is no need to go to the school physically for Phase 1, but she was worried there wasn't any acknowledgement...so went to register personally.

But the acknowledgement form will only be returned much later, after the closing date for P1 registration.

No harm being kiasu or insecure here. Always good to be on the safe side, right? 😉

                  Hi verykiasu,

If I didn’t receive any acknowledgement from the school, I will go personally too. This involves the child’s education, so it’s better to be safe than sorry.

We already got the acknowledgement form from the eldest who brought it back from school. Pei Hwa’s p1 orientation is on 19 Nov at 1:30pm

Looks like Pei Hwa is very hot this year. OMG, we are monitoring school vacancies like stock market. Nanyang has 2 classes more for P1 than Pei Hwa and yet take up yesterday was just 111.

It was necessary to ballot for MGS (within 1km) last year, so it's not advisable to try for MGS esp when you have 2 younger boys. Pei Hwa will be better and safer because you're staying within 1km. All the best.
                      Thanks for the advise,
Let see how the rest of phases turned out. keeping our fingers cross..
