      Dear Mummies,

If you support the idea of staying put, or moving to a near-by premise in 2012, may I suggest that you write to Mrs Tan who is a very considerate lady, while she is planning for the next move. I did so previously, she replied me personally to the concerns I addressed. Just use the general school email address, your message will reach her.

My DD will be in P6 in 2012 too, she needs long hours’ sleep before going to school. So,

spending more time on traveling to school = less sleeping hours or, = less study time.

This is my main concern. I believe this logic applies to majority pupils. PSLE is so crucial, a good time management is so important, extra burden must be avoided.

On one hand, I'm glad the school is staying put in Toa Payoh next year. But, my daughter will be in the afternoon session and that means she has to go without her beauty sleep which she is used to since Nursery. She will be very cranky without that nap. 😢 😢

I really wish Mrs Tan agrees to let P1 go morning session.

As for the school, is there any need to upgrade when it still looks good ??

            HI Mummies,

I just came back after registering daughter in CHIJ TP.
It sure felt good stepping into the school again, after so many years. The school changed so much…just can’t recognize it, except the walkway.

Mummies, is it compulsory to wear school socks ? One more thing, is the PE shirt for P1/2 sleeveless ? Thanks.

              Hi,

It is not compulsory to wear school socks...but socks must be white. Yes P1 - 2 wear sleeveless PE T/shirt. 🙂

                Blessedmum,

Thanks for your prompt response. Saw many gals wearing school socks, and was telling hubby not to get anymore white socks in case principal wants the gals to have a sense of belonging by wearing school socks.

I can't wait to see my gal wearing that familiar blue pinafore again. :rahrah:

not enough classrooms to go single session.

that's why it is either upgrade or reduce intake.

                    Hi Tankee,

Not enough classrooms for P1 to go single session. I was concerned with daughter missing her afternoon nap, but come to think of this, it’s a blessing in disguise. With both kids in diff session, I will have more time for son who will be in P5 next year. Not only that, no more fighting over trivial things like pen or eraser. :x

janet, i recommend you to get the school socks as it has very good pading & the elastic is very good, very comfy for your gal to wear to walk & run about.

Can fully understand the love-deep-deep, hate-deep-deep relationship as my dd & ds are both in the same session.
