even if we know number of pv also no point. grassroots, and clan (yes, HW is affiliated to a clan) members also come into play. But I think there is a way of knowing.

It's a Heng Hwa clan - but then again, not many Heng Hwa's in Singapore.

For the number of PVs, since the PIC send email to all parents, I just use that to count, but be careful not to double count because some join as couple (ie mummy and daddy). That would just be a min. number becos like what hquek mentioned there’s the clan and grassroots parents…But if u stay within 1km and the unthinkable happen in Phase 2B u still have chance in phase 2C. I only have chance in phase 2B becos I stay beyond 1km and previous histroy balloting start within 1km. I’m crossing my fingers very hard that next yr phase 2B will continue the trend of no balloting and I can complete my 40hrs.

Visited the MOE website today, phase 2A2 ended yesterday. 8 parents registered under this phase, so there will be at least 131 vacancies for phase 2B and phase 2C. Since it is odd number I wonder how MOE deal with the extra vacancy.

I think the extra one goes to 2B - happen before but memory hazy. Anyway, this year 2B chance very high.

DS1 - I have 2 of those (no DD). Strangely I'm quite sedate about it. I think should be alright under 2B, and plus I'm within 1km. Paperwork's all in one obvious place so I don't think I shall be missing anything.

I really should feel more hype and excitement but dunno why cannot get in the feel. probably Friday then I'll be more excited. hee hee

Good luck on fulfilling your hours, I had to go through that agony also (plus they screw up my email so for the longest time, i was wondering why all quiet).

Thanks, I will "cheong" after my delivery and confinement. My great motivation is that if successful, I will not have to worry about DS2 and DD3 when my DD1 gets in.
