Visited the MOE website today, phase 2A2 ended yesterday. 8 parents registered under this phase, so there will be at least 131 vacancies for phase 2B and phase 2C. Since it is odd number I wonder how MOE deal with the extra vacancy.

I think the extra one goes to 2B - happen before but memory hazy. Anyway, this year 2B chance very high. -
Yup, all the best, are u registering for ur DD or DS? Although this is not my registering yr, I still feel very excited by the whole process.

DS1 - I have 2 of those (no DD). Strangely I'm quite sedate about it. I think should be alright under 2B, and plus I'm within 1km. Paperwork's all in one obvious place so I don't think I shall be missing anything.
I really should feel more hype and excitement but dunno why cannot get in the feel. probably Friday then I'll be more excited. hee hee
Good luck on fulfilling your hours, I had to go through that agony also (plus they screw up my email so for the longest time, i was wondering why all quiet). -
Thanks, I will "cheong" after my delivery and confinement. My great motivation is that if successful, I will not have to worry about DS2 and DD3 when my DD1 gets in.

Hi hquek,
From ur PV experience, how do u find the kids? Are they well-disciplined or more on the playful side? -

Personal view only, parents of existing kids dun flame me.Hi hquek,

I like that the kids are taught to bow to their teachers when they encounter them.
But kids being kids tend to be very playful, at times competitive. It's just very normal kids at work here.
Though I was very amazed by the cacophany they managed to make on the way up and down Bt Timah hill. -
 fresh air can make anyone high hahahaha.

Sidetrack a question on school bus. As i bypass the school last week, noticed that we still need to walk a distance from bus stop to school and only one bus entering that area. And if weather condition not ideal such as heavy rain etc, will be quite difficult to walk to the school. Would taking school bus be necessary?
