what about the one at Changi Village?

don't know whether it is still there, but used to see a long queue when I went there years ago. I have never tried it since I hate queues
Yup, nice too and can add-on other condiments as well.
The stall has the Makansutra die die must try if i'm not
mistaken and also the Suria endorsement that came in
a green leaf thingy recced by the Malay celebrity from
      Police & Thief.

the sambal chilli used to have sotong and tastes really \"solid\". Maybe now could have lost its way abit. Haven't tried the otah though because I always get the standard set.

Well, nowadays it's really hard to find an eatery which is famous and is still selling at reasonable prices. So sometimes, they will either follow the market prices or pinch on the ingredients here and there. 😐

Ha looks like u haven't eaten there for a while.
          1. ikan bilis no longer comes with nuts;
          2. sambal chilli no have sotong anymore.
          3. rice quality also not consistent.

          Now close on Friday.

Yeah, very atas now. I prefer stall #1 coz they use basmati rice :celebrate: and must pay for the puny little bergedel (potato pattie).

The only thing that is nice about Selera Rasa @ Adam Road is the rice grain. It is from Pakistan and if im lucky its cooked to the right consistency. Not too overwhelming coconut or lack of it.

Another OLD fav was Nasi Lemak Power @ Boon Lay Market. Nothing much to comment now. Edible and i could create something better in my kitchen.

Our current fav is that packet nasi lemak across the causeway. Only found Petronas station near Court Mammoth or Shell/BP via 2nd link. Usually they stock it up past 9:30pm.

there r 3 popular stalls at tg pagar hawker centre, 2 in the middle of the food centre and one at the last row which is my favourite (furthest from main road) facing pinnacle duxton. the stall manned by an old couple but they go holidays abt 2-3 times a year and 2-3 weeks each time. Another popular one at Amoy Street Hawker Centre, 2nd floor, next to famous Lor Mee.

The last time I visited the Tanjong Pagar Market Hawjer Centre, there were 2 nasi lemak stores with long queue. I bought from one of the stall, the nasi is so-so, chilli is a little bit sweet & not spicy, but the chicken wings \\ drumsticks were

Which one did you patronise? There is one facing the Chinese temple. Very  and cheap, too. For $2.50, you get the following:

                    1. Egg
                    2. Otah
                    3. Fish
                    4. Chicken Wing

and of course, the rice and chilli. šŸ˜‰

yes, the one facing the chinese temple and it has only some newspaper cuttings.

the other one somewhere in the middle has makan sutra, etc.

                        MMM:

Used to work in Tanjong Pagar in my younger days and they have very good nasi lemak store (with good chicken wing) at the market. Is it still there? Quite similar to the store at golden shoe carpark.
Yes still there! there are a few popular ones, including one with pandan nasi lemak (rice is green!).
