Seems like everyone is aiming this school.. hiya..

I already send in my application to HKHK in march.. but they didnt proceed my application until i call them in may.. DA*N! now got to wait for the 2nd AGM!!!! and still dunno what date ..
What to do? cannot possible scold them.. just consider myself unlucky.

Now i try to join the PV. but they ask me to wait for the results in june next year!

Although you can top up your chances via voluntary work (eg during CNY, family day, etc); or try get council member to endorse your application.

If you know family/friend who is council member, that's the easiest. Else if you are deeply involved in their activities, you can meet some.

No not PV, got rejected for letter by SHHK - reason given was they lived too far so no point (during registration likely to ballot out or not even get chance to ballot).

well, you have to submit your application form for that letter, in that form your address is required field. So they probably get it from there.

Not sure when your child is registering, just bear in mind the tenure bit if you still want to try that route. And perhaps start volunteering your time.

It really was fun for me becos those activities really opened my eyes to an aspect of culture I never knew before.

NOPE. only gives the person the right to walk in during phase 2B registration and submit their application form.

PV and grassroots are similarly entitled to registration during this phase. (religious groups also fall under this phase but then I don't know any clan schools with affiliation to religious bodies).

Getting the letter merely give you the rights to register during phase 2B. You are still subjected to balloting should the number of applicants exceed the nu,ber of places available.

only mean eligible to register under phase 2B. It does not mean sure can get in.
