I think for those who stick with ballot n *touch wood*... missed it... still end up have to look for another sch... tat's like double the misery... dun think I want to go thru tat... *touch wood* ballot missed again at 2C... tat's triple the misery... OMG...Daddy

Just wondering... if u r >2KM or even >1KM... n knows there will be balloting... would u vountarily opt out n apply elsewhere less popular... and maybe create a no-ballot situation... or wait for others to opt out instead... hoping u have better luck than others?
Was asking hubby the same thing too. Does it mean that those staying out of 2km will have to look for another school ? Or still go for balloting ?
Personal choice bah... esp when you have to live with this for the next 6 years of your kid's Pri sch edu. -

Where's St. Stephen's ? How about St. Gabriel, saw that only 18 applied out of fifty something seats.Daddy

I rather skip balloting. I attended a balloting session for my company's D&D this Jan. Heart almost stopped and when we were not successful, the kind of feeling was beyond disappointment. My colleague even questioned if our ballot paper was in the bowl. That's why I am going to St. Stephen's later.

U might as well say First Toa Payoh Pri? But that's like the last sch in TPY... or SG... that ppl wants to go to... for whatsoever reasons...

Hi janet_lee88
My girl is in IJTP P2. She loves assessments but when it comes to questions she can't solve after 2 tries or she has not encountered similar before, all hells break loose!! Though she's not the active sort, she can get quite drifted away with little side distractions. I remembered when she was in Nursary, she's usually one of the fastest in doing her work, then she'll start looking at what others are doing, followed by seeing her friends handing in their work.. and she ends up the last to complete her work.
Yes, I've registered at MSH. We went down to SJI after that to check out the place & our chances. Flat out, hubby didn't like what he saw so maybe he'll try his luck out on balloting

What is the registration timing like and how long does it take?

Daddy
You qualify under P2B either as PV or clan/church member or grassroot leader. For PV, unless you volunteer for more than one school, which other school can you make use of your PV status to be eligible for P2B? :scratchhead:

If staying out of 2km, then have to find out how many seats left for balloting, but MUST have backup school. However, not everyone has a strong heart to go through balloting. Like what Daddy D mentioned, go for a school which has a high chance. Even if there is Phase 2C, you have to consider the distance as well. Phase 2C is for those who do not qualify under the earlier phases. Harder chance as compared to 2B right ?

All primary and full schools will be open for registration from 8am to 11am and from 2.30pm to 4.30pm on each scheduled registration day. -

St. Stephen's is in Telok Kurau.
