All About Primary Schools' Balloting History

I think a lot of PRs would have registered as PV since they know their chances will be higher as compared to phase 2C. My Chinese neighbour, a PR, who became PV to get into Rosyth!!!Just wondering, how many Singapore PRs are there staying within 1km of schools like Nanyang, Southview DLS. Most of the residents around these areas are usually Singaporeans, so I think it could be a tough fight.
Imagine, before this new ruling, a glass bowl of 10 balls (assuming 90% S'poreans). Now a glass bowl of 20+ balls. -

A friend of mine who has triplets told me the JOY of knowing her triplets got into the school was many many times better than striking 4D.Slips of papers in box.
Some schools would ask parent to draw; others drawn by the school staff.
Supposing these Chinese PR do PV, that means if balloting is required, they get 1 slip only right ? -

Should think so...bcos they do PV they already get priority by being in Phase 2B.

Wow how come those hold the balloting before National Day? Like that all must sing \"Count My Slip, Count My Slip\" instead of \"Count On Me\".

Err...titank, National Day is on 09 Aug. So, 13 Aug is after National Day, not before. :spank: -

Not likely. Registration ends only on 04 Aug. Last year, P2C registration ended on 31 Jul 09, but balloting was done after National Day, too. Hence, I believe they need the time to make preparation. -
Phase 2C would be the main stream of P1 registration where all play by level field. Those the nearer the distance to school, the more chances for being getting in.
Maybe the MOE should provides live updates where indicating the breakdown of distance of the applicants. I beleive this information is useful so that there won't be some parents running all about in that 3 days.
