Wow how come those hold the balloting before National Day? Like that all must sing \"Count My Slip, Count My Slip\" instead of \"Count On Me\".

Err...titank, National Day is on 09 Aug. So, 13 Aug is after National Day, not before. :spank: -

Sorry I'm saying that the balloting should hold before National Day for Phase 2C.titank:

Not likely. Registration ends only on 04 Aug. Last year, P2C registration ended on 31 Jul 09, but balloting was done after National Day, too. Hence, I believe they need the time to make preparation. -
Phase 2C would be the main stream of P1 registration where all play by level field. Those the nearer the distance to school, the more chances for being getting in.
Maybe the MOE should provides live updates where indicating the breakdown of distance of the applicants. I beleive this information is useful so that there won't be some parents running all about in that 3 days. -

those running around in this phase are the kiasu ones; bulk of applicants in this phase (considering bulk of schools are neighbourhood schools) will just register and then carry on with their life.Phase 2C would be the main stream of P1 registration where all play by level field. so better to apply for schools that have more seats instead of going through balloting process
If can avoid balloting, avoid. If cannot avoid then must have a good & solid backup plan. -
Phase 2C is for those who do not qualify under the earlier phases. Hope parents would have 90% confirmed where they are planning to register after looking at the vacancies left after 2B. For those planning to register in ‘HOT’ schools, hope you are staying within 1km.
All the best. -

Agree! MOE should make this viewable by everyone. Some schools (the super hottest ones) give out this information freely. I encountered one school that refuse to share this info until I was there ONsite. It was very difficult to decide where we should finally register.

Why should we have to waste time and energy to run around when this information may be easily disseminated? Parents can use this info to plan their 'strategy' properly.
