Hi mommies


I am thinking of registering my daughter next year. The problem is I am not an ex-girl and live 1-2km away so I know I am taking a big risk to try MGS but I have heard nothing but good reviews of the school and would like her to attend MGS.

IF I should fail to get in but would like to transfer her from another school after Pri 1, do you think that is possible? Any mommies with kids that transferred from another school to MGS? Would appreciate any advice or comments on this.

I am thinking of transferring my daughter there too, but staying 1-2km...chances are impossible bcos balloting takes place for those staying within 1km. Like yourself, also not ex-girl.
I would like to know what are the chances if I write into the school to be on wait list. Is the wait list very long and very hard to get transfer?

I dun think so that any connection to ACS applies now.

a long time ago when i was in ACPS, i got my sis into MGS through some sibling affiliation rule...no longer possible now.

I think should have but must be prepared for a long journey. But CCA days might pose a problem for you if you rely on school buses.

ya, one of the problems many faced is that the CCA schoolbus may not cover some of the normal school hr routes so gotta arrange for alternative transport
