Hi. Any mummies can share how is the school teachers and school results? I am still thinking whether to apply for this school, Gongshang or TPS.
The reason I can’t decide because we will be moving. These schools chosen because I am can get my ds1 into these schools in phase 2.
Thanks. -
20 years back, I was from Geylang Methodist Primary, all I could say is 30% of my batch went to RI, ACS… … top secondary schools. my class alone got more than 10 pupils scoring above 255

I was an ex-student in Geylang Methodist Pri and sec school.
So far this school is quite popular among the neighbourhood side. If dont want to go to enrol your child to sap school like kong hwa maha bodhi pri sch..then tt is the 1st choice..
From what i know is that, the students actually have lots of homework.Result over the years, i am not really sure about it. -
Does the school work closely with the parents on the cihld’s development?
-
just curious, did the girls have a different uniform when they were still Geylang MGS?

Hi Sourfish,Hi,
I am thinking of enrolling DS in GMSP. Any feedback on the school? Thanks.
My son is in GMS, P2 this year. THat time, I was stuggling between Red Swastika and GMS. I was ex-girl at Red Swastika but GMS is only within walking distance for us. We made the last minute decision to pull out from Red Swastika and enrolled for GMS during Phase 2C.
So far I have no regrets in my decision. The the school is ok and my son is coping well. What I like about this school is the PAL program which they introduced last year. The PAL program introduces various activities like badminton, hip hop dancing, swimming, cartoon drawing, gymnastics etc. for the students during the 1st 3 terms of the year to expose them. The courses are subsidised by the school, so they are not expensive.
Last time for us, where got such things, right
However, my son don't seem to have much homework during P1 and P2. But I heard it will be different during upper primary.
But I believe, a good teacher and parent involvement really makes a lot of difference. -
Thanks for your feedback. So far are you happy with the teachers? I too believe that the teacher is the one who matters… You registered at 2C? Balloting?
