u know, i've assessed before whether its better for DH to take on an overseas job so that me and dd can follow him. but finally concluded its stil better to stay on in spore cos of the support we get here - the education system such as quality childcare, quality enrichment classes available, and best of all kiasuparents.com where sporean parents gather together to exchange notes and info. seriously, no other asian country even has a parenting forum that comes close (to my knowledge). when i was in china for holiday, could not access kiasuparents.com website leh, so very sian...

Once I was having a drink at a place while waiting for my child, I heard a group of parents chatting about kiasuparents.com. One was introducing everyone else to go to this forum to take a look. I almost wanted to stand up and say,

I was looking for enrichment classes from my K2 dd then. By chance I "bumped" into KiasuParents.com. I was too lazy to think of a nickname so just hijack the name here and nicked myself as KSP.

Must have found this site using the search engine. Found it interesting, useful and resourceful so decided to stay on.


The great thing is that through this website, I made some new friends who have kids in the same school. We were able to share the experience and thoughts offline.
