Will you have time to perform volunteer work? If so, you can put your girl in CHIJ, and apply as a PV to RMPS so as to give your son a better edge at RMPS when it is his time to register.

I agree but think the ferrying and fetching to school will be a logistic nightmare when both are in school :!:

By the time her son gets starts in P1, RMPS will be in single session. So, I guess it should still be manageable, right? :scratchhead:

Bottomline is, it depends on her priority. If she thinks it is very important to put her daughter in a all-girls' school, then, she will have to make some sacrifices here and there. Can't expect to gain and not give up anything, right?

still hvnt decided which school (CHIJ od RMPS) both are within 1KM.

My DD is a very kiasu type and i believe she can tk pressure if she in RMPS, but i prefer to build up her more in character development, plus i prefer the all girl envelopment. In the other hand im worry abt my younger son who is 3yrs old now... Think 3yrs later chance to get in to RMPS will be more difficult!

Looking at the current situation it is recommended that you go ZDPS where highly can get in since you are staying in 1Km where do not require any balloting.

3 years later you do not have to headache for the 2nd child since ZDPS is an co-ed school. Don't forget 3 years later there would be more HDB property coming up looking at Bukit Ho Swee & Bukit Merah.

The Duxton Pinaccle is located at 1-2Km of RMPS & ZDPS which would create more competition.

Titank, within 1 km from RMPS and CHIJ Kellock doesn't necessarily mean she is staying within 1 km from Zhangde, too. I am within 1 km from RMPS and CHIJ Kellock, but 1-2 km from Zhangde.

As a working mummy my problem is might not hv time for PV and worry they might not accept me as i i got no special skill to distubrite.

If borderline case, please confirm with the school instead of trusting onemap.

Over at bukit Panjang thread, I checked mummyPinky's residential block, and onemap showed Beacon primary to be within 1km of her home. But she just confirmed that her home is 1.08km from the school.
