Yes, like what BigD mentioned, please re-confirm the distance with the school if it is borderline case.

Given your scenario (no time for PV, don't want to take risk, have younger boy), you may like to monitor the registration and decide between ZDPS and RMPS on the third day. Historically, ZDPS was able to take in all applicants within 1 km from the school.

From what QMS had mentioned, ZDPS should be able to take in at 1Km without balloting, balloting very likely for those in the 1-2Km for the case like last year. If you look carefully on the map, CHIJ (Kellock) 1 Km range there are about 1/3 area covered by water or swampy land, therefore generally also safe to get in if you are staying at 1Km of CHIJ (Kellock).

There is not much selection of schools in Bukit Merah & ZDPS can consider 2nd in ranking which come after RMPS & CHIJ (Kellock). GESPS is also coming up strongly where last year PSLE they had aggregate score of 275. Just sharing my 2 cents worth of opinion.

After discuss with husband, on 3rd day of reg we will monitor RMPS,
CHIJ is our 2nd choice!

If unable to get in RMPS! then will reg her in CHIJ
as our son will decide after reg excise!

now i can understand why every1 be so Kiasu!

As for your son, you can always send him to either you or your husband's alma mater, if you want. But then, you will have to think about the logistics.

Too bad im not citizen here, my family stay at M'sia! Haha my mom add will be 500km away from here!
my MIL stay at Sengkang!!

If end out my gal get in CHIJ, then will consider PV or RC member
try our best to get a place for my son!
As a parent will put child future as 1 priority!
Still not too late to plan for him rite?

Just want to check with the experienced people, I have registered my daughter in Phase 2B in RMPS. It looks like all are in for 2B. So should I still register her in Phase 2C and wait for a confirmation letter from RMPS for 2B?
Basically, I am clueless as to what I should do next? When I call the school they were not able to tell me when I will get an official confirmation for 2B registration.

Hi, may I know if u have received any call or letter from them already? We also register under Ph 2b but till now no call, no letter from the school. A bit worried. What if the application form is lost? ([email protected])
