          Hi Parents out there,

We are within 1km to both St Andrews Junior and Maris Stella Pri, SAJS is within walking distance (we live in Potong Pasir) while MSP we need to travel. SAJS now 62 out of 71 within 1 km for Phase 2C while MSP is 32 out of 91 within 1km as of 2 Aug…

Which would you have chosen and why? Thanks in advance…

My feel is that pple are doing a wait and see before trying there cos there is a possibility that balloting will happen 1 to 2km.

Think the action will really start on Day 3!!!

Would have chosen MS cos prefer ds to stardee CL at higher level in Pr 1. If he really cannot make it, then hopefully can drop to CL2 in Pr 3.

Btw, my views may be biased cos i have registerd in MS liao! πŸ˜‰

Heard from my fren whose kid is there now.... the Higher Chinese for MS is from P1 - then apparenrtly if you really cannot cope, you can drop it in P3.

Figured it is better to get him started at a more challenging level rather than highway thru which might be more difficult to pick up!

Maris is a SAP school where they offer Higher Chinese from P1. If can't follow, then can drop to CL2 at P5 & 6 for PSLE. Non-SAP schools offer CL2 from P1 then those who are good at Chinese will take Higher Chinese at P5&6 for PSLE (opposite la). MSH can drop at P3? Not sure... but other SAP schools only allow u to drop at P5. Anyway, hope can tahan Higher Chinese all the way to PSLE...

                      Wahhh... sounds stressful...
                      Got Bio a not? DUH...
PSLE score is based on how many subjects now? Can't be CL2 and CL1 having the same weightage towards PSLE right?
