wow, 3 out of 4 schools need balloting ! Does that mean there is a shortage of schools in Bishan ? šŸ™‚

no. total vacancies is still more than total applicants. Just that 3 schools are more popular.

Not really. There are choices of schools from Toa Payoh and AMK.

Can Guangyang even make up 1 class? Why don't they just close the school and pass the resources to the other 3 so they can have more seats?

Out of curiosity, how come this school is so undesired by parents?? So different from Guanghua (Kong Hwa) :?

Even after P2C Supp, it is still not full... maybe it will eventually be filled with foreigners at Phase 3.

In a way yes since the only school with vacancy has already moved to Ang Mo Kio. I am sure they are still mire Bishan parents not yet register. I am one of them. Really hope MOE will look into this for next year.

Maybe there need to be at least one full government school in each estate? The other 3 schools are government-aided school. Plus 2 of them are SAP schools and 2 are affiliated to churches. They need to provide an option for those outside these groups.

Guangyang is at AMK temporary only as its premise in bishan is being rebuid under PRIME. It will be back in bishan in 2012.

From Guangyang website, there is a new vp this year. Anyone know where she is from? Any feedback?

Just called up KCPPS this morning. 96 app from1km and 36 from 2pm as of last night. So left with the most 21 vacancies for balloting.
