      missylee2:
I received the same sms msg from EPS admin staff. Withdrew yesterday since i didnt stand a chance for balloting (staying between 1 - 2km). My block is just one block outside the 1km radius! So pek chek!! :x

Looking at the enrolled figures, balloting will only be conducted for those staying within 1km.
hi missylee2.. so which school will you be registering? call me kiasu, I am already thinking which other 2 schools to go for if balloting within 1km is not successful at endeavour.. 😢
I really hope to get into endeavour since its in morning session and i could use the after school care at my block. Haiz..... šŸ™ šŸ™

Seems like I am left with wellington and sembawang pri..... šŸ˜ž šŸ˜ž

. Usually if a Sch conduct a balloting parents r welcome to witness it. Usually the Sch write down the registration number or the child name in a piece of paper n rolled it ( juz like a lucky draw paper) n put inside a clear box for ballot. As for this year Singapore citizen child got two piece of paper n PR as usual only 1 paper in the ballot box

It really caught me by surprise that Endeavour will need balloting for applicants staying within 1km. I just called this afternoon and found out that the application is 170 versus a vacancies of 148. Hopefully I can successfully enrol my gal into the school as I have not thought of any backup plans. šŸ˜ž

As for the balloting exercise, what I understand is 2 slips will be given to each Singaporean and 1 slip for PR. These slips will be placed in a box for drawing. The date and time will be informed. It is not necessary to be present for the balloting exercise..

so it means we have 2 chances during the balloting and if the name is picked once, we are considered in rite??

That's right! If your kid's name is called again, the school should have a system in place to flag that the second slip is selected.

If your kid's name is called for the second time, then, it's an indication that you should buy TOTO! šŸ˜‰ (just joking!)
