not surprised. I think past couple of years 2C always balloting within 1km. Lucky 2B no fight...else :stupid:
But SAHM_Tan, in case you are still wondering about their psle results....I can say that I have no clue - I tried asking and the office lady said she don't know (I'm reading between the lines here and reached my own conclusion).
Am thinking that I'll just have to strive hard for my kids if I want them to get good psle results in the years to come. -
hquek:
Yes, I'm hoping that next year phase 2B will continue to have no balloting. Or else u will hear a scream echoing throughout Singapore hahahahaSAHM_TAN:

I agree with u it will depend on us and our kids....... think this is true no matter which school we enroll our kids in..........from what I read parents from the forum start to aim for PSLE once the P1 is settled. We must all Jia You and give each other encouragement, it will be a long journey ahead....... -
To all mummies of Hong Wen
My boy is borned in 2007.
When do I need to register as a Parent Volunteer ? Some primary schools require you to register a year before you actually clock the hours. Is it the same for Hong Wen ? -
Hi GTGT,
My DD is born in 2005 and I registered for PV this yr before 1st Jul and was accepted. They have online application PV form, so you could always submit that first to indicate your interest. However, still best to check in with them after submission at a later date to confirm that there are no changes to their deadline. -

sometimes the rule changed depending on the school. I have friends whose kids are born in 2006 and need to register this year but actual pv will only start next year. -
