HyperKiasu:
Shared in previous postings. Just repeating main points here:
tankee post one thread about Library Book Sales 10 & 11 July :
http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11968.
any parents can share your past experience of Library Book Sales?
1. Many books, but may/not be messy (understand that they have been improving on the payment etc process).
2. Cheap prices. Bundles of magazines going for $5 per bundle, but these tend to be very outdated. Last year, I got 2005/6 magazines.
3. Condition tend to be grubby - library books, what to expect.
4. Can get crowded, so go early if you are minded.
Bought a couple of usborne reference and some magazines but hate to touch it cos it's very eeerrrr. If you are not at all fussy about the condition, by all means, have fun there. And let us know how it was this year.

Good luck then. Bring trolley bag (if you have)...I find it soooo useful during book sales. Super back breaking trying to balance the darn cartons/baskets and looking through books.

Hallo hallo,
Went to Giant at Turf City today.
There is an assortment of Dr Seuss titles going at $4.50 each (paperback). Bought abt 9 titles like \"I can read with my eyes shut\", Mr Brown can moo! can you?\" etc ... If my memory serves me right, I saw them at Borders selling at $11 plus
There were also cookbooks, both hardcover and paperback going at $4.50.
