Haha. I woke my girl at 5am this morning. She was so blur and asked me why did I wake her up at night to go to school. I told her it's 5am in the morning, but she looked at the sky and thought I am trying to be funny. After her school, she told her grandma that she is so tired because She woke up in the midnight to go to school. *faint*

Wow, does your girl take the school bus? If I let my girl take the bus, she will also need to wake up at 5am. I stay at North East far end that's why need to be so early. Do you stay very far from the school too?

Just now before I left for work I asked my girl to have a nap in the afternoon. She said \"No need\". Let's see how long she can tahan ๐Ÿ™‚

But seriously, think need to start to plan to move house already. But still don't know where will be the holding site in 2 years' time.....this makes it hard to plan..... :?

Oh ya.. She takes school bus to school. wE stay in Bukit Panjang.. It's not too far.. But because the school bus have to fetch pri one to six students, thats why she had to wake up early. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Do you know for your area, once the girls reach morning session, what will be the boarding time? Also, is your school bus the van or mini-bus type?

I just find it incredible that for my girl's school bus, it's a small van, maximum capacity at most 12 girls, why need to fetch at 5.40am??

The school bus will hit KPE-PIE at 6am and at that kind of hours, will reach school latst around 6.30am. Why do the bus need to reach school at such an early hour? The only reason I can think of is the school bus goes on other rounds of fetching after that.

        Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

        Rgds,
        Ming

When I was studying in RGPS, I was always the 1st one to be picked up in the morning, at 5.45am. My schoolbus then was a minibus that sits at most 12 kids too. But after picking me, the each child that the driver needs to pick up takes about 5 mins so by the time he picks the last kid fromthe area that he covers, it's about 1 hr oredi, factor in some waiting time for some tardy kids, over 1 hr, and from the point where he picks the last kid, he zooms to the school so by the time I reach the school, it's about 7.05-7.10am.

I can foresee it will get better in the next few years. Why? From the P1 Reg statistics more are staying within 1km and they will walk to school. Go Green and save the earth.
But the new p1s who stay within 1 km next year be in afternoon session whereas ours be in morning liao

Maybe we can only see the effect when our dds in P5/P6. But then there are news about moving to holding school soon. So those staying within 1km will have to burn more fuel to get their dds to school. Still not very Green after all.

Really? Didn't see any correspondence from the teachers. Aiyah, if I'd known, would have gone to get tickets for YOG ๐Ÿ˜›
