      Tom & Stephanie

      Kiddy Palace
      Toy Kingdom

I can't say about their quality, but sometimes neighbourhood shops have pretty decent and 'different' toy to offer too. ๐Ÿ˜„

        Mothers Work

I got great stuff there for infants and breastfeeding.
They have a good range of Lamaze toys. A bit pricier but worth the money. And the cloth ones can be machine washed.
They have a branch at Great World City but not within the main shopping area. You have to go past the office lift lobby. There should be a sign over a passageway that says \"Mothers Work\".

        http://www.motherswork.com.sg/
(Their site is being \"renovated\" so some links may not work.)

Examples of Lamaze toys that we got for our DD back then:

        Clutch Cube

        My First Fishbowl

        Musical Inchworm

Learning Curve website that sells Lamaze toys

Sorry, I tried to post pics but failed.

        Final VVIP reminder from sashimi:
Do NOT get any wooden blocks for children who are still putting things into their mouth no matter what the label on the toy says. We got some for our DD when she was barely 1yo cos the label said 6mths and up. She chewed on them and it splintered. Imagine our horror and worry and anger when we found out. I wrote an e-mail to the US company who made them and told them off for being so careless and thoughtless. I hope they don;t sell them anymore...or at least not for children below 3yo.

we also got a crib panel that has a black & white & red side and a coloured side. It had textures and sounds. We could tie it at the side of the crib for infants who canโ€™t lift their heads yet. It also has a safe mirror cos infants are fascinated with their reflections.

Generally, infants have very bad eyesight so don;t put things too far away. Distance from mommyโ€™s face when breastfeeding is just about right.

And infants can only see red, black and white clearly so no point using colourful toys until later.

P.S. I forgot to mention that we got our DD this very small teddy bear that is completely soft and washable and comes in a pastel green. Itโ€™s from Kโ€™s Kids. (You can google for them.) However, the pastel colours line is not sold anymore and the colours are more vivid. Good news is that they also have other stuff besides bears and plushies. Last time, we found them at Kiddy Palace but now, they can only be found at Cerisi branches.

Tom & Stephanie has decent pricing and a wide range of stuff, and include brands like muchkin and fisher price. Seems that they have added Lamaze toys too..I use to be crazy about those hanging Lamaze baby toys that Baby Center store recommends and recently saw quite a wide range there.

Sometime departmental store have great discount for Little Tike. My ex-colleague bought from an online store with member price, cheaper than outside.
