      Hi tine28,

Dont give up, you should put yr child’s name on Pei Chun wait list. Heard that during the last week of 2009, there were 10+ vacancies 1eft and the school called up those on the wait list and asked if they were still interested. Some parents had bought textbooks n uniforms for the school that accepted their children in the P2CSupp and thus did not take up the offer. You should give it a try.

My son failed in the P2C ballot many years ago. We did not put our son on the waitlist as we didnt think that we would stand a chance. And naturally, there were no calls to ask if we were still interested.

Soon, we were tired of the travelling to his school which was further away from our house as compared to PC. So when it came to my younger daughter’s turn to register for P1, we applied to transfer our son to PC which was nearer to our house. We were interviewed by the kind new principal on 23dec, notified on 26 dec that my son was accepted for transfer and we did not mind the late rush for textbooks and uniforms. Better later than never! In turn, we could registered our daughter in P2A1 and did not have to go through P2C balloting for our daughter.

This was when we realised that PC would usually consolidate their vancancies for all levels and conduct interview / calls to those on waitlist in late Dec.

So, give it a try. It may be a long wait, but at least you have another chance at the end of the year. You may then consider and decide again. best wishes!

Orientation at CHIJ TP is on 12 Nov. Wonder what orientation is...forgot what it is all about πŸ˜› What I do know is school books/uniforms are not sold that day and hopefully hassle free on that day.

              Congratulations also..... πŸ™‚ See you Nov13 πŸ˜‰

Are we all really meeting up or wat? hahaha... as in show our faces and blow our cover? πŸ˜‰

Haha - Cherrygal - Actually i wont mind πŸ˜‰ cos i think our boys under 2B will most likely become classmates as MS apparently groups the boys in classes as they register (at least this was the system per last year - heard from my fren) - those from 2B will most likely be in 1F or 1G.

I am wondering if the 2B parents want to meet up before the orientation for tea or brunch?

                        Hi Juanthedragon,
I thought you are staying within 1km from NYPS. MCS is at TPY. Will it be too far from your hse? Y not try BTPS?
