Dear Parents,
May I ask how do you schedule your P1 & P2 child's enrichment classes? All except 1 of Ds's enrichment classes are scheduled on weekdays currently so that we have the weekends free for leisure. However, come next year when ds will be in P1 pm session, I think it will be tough on him to still attend enrichment classes on weekdays before/after school.
I really hope to keep at least Sunday free of class... is that possible at all?
Please share your experience. TIA. -
Hi notabox,
Congrats for obtaining a place in Pei Hwa in yesterday’s ballot.
What enrichment lessons does your son attend ? Are those lessons necessary ? The reason being is that children in afternoon sessions do not have time on weekdays. At P1/2, my son did his school homework at night and revision in the morning. Fortunately his Chinese tutor was available on Saturdays. -
Hi Mummies
New to this thread. My son will be joining P1 next year. Very exciting.
Unfortunately, I may have to miss orientation cos will be overseas. Can any mummy tell me what I will be missing out? Thank you. -

1. English @ Zoophonics
2. Chinese @ Berries
3. Maths @ MPM
4. Piano @ Childcare
5. Abacus @ ? (still searching)
I have the same thoughts...that ds will not have time to go for additional class before/after school. I am ready to discontinue his English enrichment as I believe the school's syllabus will be adequate. The rest I hope to continue for another year or two since I read here that P1&2 in PHPP is pretty \"relaxing\"? Aim to stop all enrichment except Piano (that is, if ds wants to pursue further) by end of P2 unless ds is doing badly in school.
Appreciate your further opinion.
